Enter Photo Competition for 2025 Memorial Calendar
THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED.
The Trust will select 12 winning photo entries to be published in the new calendar that will be available to buy in December 2024.
How to enter
There is a suggested donation fee of £5 per photo entered for the competition. Donations can be made here.
There is no limit to the number of entries per person.
Once you have paid your entry fee, please email your photo(s) to contact@britishnormandymemorial.org
Entries must be labelled (in the body of the email) with the entrant’s name and title of their photo(s).
Image files must be in landscape, a minimum of 300 dpi and saved at their original size, as large as permissible (min size 3MB).
Please consider using ‘www.wetransfer.com’ for sending large files by email.
Deadline
All entries must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 1 October 2024.
Terms and conditions
All images submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them and must not have been published elsewhere or have won a prize in any other photographic competition. It is the responsibility of each entrant to ensure that any images they submit have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party or any laws. Entrants must warrant that the photograph they are submitting is their own work and that they own the copyright for it.
Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. However, in consideration of their providing the Competition, each entrant grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual licence to The Normandy Memorial Trust to feature any or all, of the submitted images in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material.
The twelve winners (one for each month, including the Overall Winner) will be notified within five weeks of the closing date. The winners may be required to take part in publicity and provide PR quotes for regional media contact. The winner’s name and county may be disclosed in post-competition publicity.
