Louis Howard Wilkes

Normandy Veteran Alan King shares the story of his tank commander and close friend, Corporal Louis Wilkes, who died in his arms and who has never forgotten. Alan and Louis served in the East Riding Yeomanry during the Battle of Normandy and shared the same M4 Sherman tank.
