These photos are shared by the Trust with kind permission from Albert Cotton's maternal great-nephew, Dave Dolan

In memory of my Great Uncle Albert who was killed in action, 09 July 1944.

This is his final resting place in Bayeux War Cemetery, Calvados, one photo shows it marked with the original grave marker. This was then replaced with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission headstone.
