The British Normandy Memorial Photography Competition
The British Normandy Memorial sits within an evocative landscape enjoying panoramic views out to sea and across the surrounding countryside. Sensational sunrises and sunsets create shadows and light across the 160 columns of the Memorial, highlighting the quiet dignity of the Memorial’s architecture and the power of the Memorial’s D-Day sculpture.
The Trust is launching an annual photography competition to capture striking images of the British Normandy Memorial and invites visitors to the Memorial to share their impressions.
The Trust will select an overall winner and 11 other entries whose photographs will be published in the 2023 British Normandy Memorial Calendar,
The overall winner will have their photo published on the cover of the calendar.
All proceeds from the competition and sale of the calendar will help to fund the maintenance and protection of the Memorial.
